History of Fairchild Exteriors
Fairchild Exteriors was founded in Walworth, Wisconsin, in 1966 by my father, Stanley E. Fairchild, Sr., and my mother, Sandra Gurrie Fairchild. Sandy grew up in Fontana, Wisconsin, and Stan's family has been a part of rural Walworth since the mid 1800's. Over the years Stan & Sandy built a reputation in Southeastern Wisconsin for dedication to the highest quality of service, materials and craftsmanship. My three brothers, sister and I grew up learning first hand the trade skills and business principles that made Fairchild Exteriors one of the most respected names in the industry. My father was considered by most to have been one of the finest Master Craftsmen in this area. For most of my life I worked side by side with him, perfecting the skills which allow me to also claim the title of Master Craftsman. He is now retired, and while my mother passed away in 1998, her spirit and dedication to family remain a corner stone of my own philosophy toward family and business.
I understand that the continued success of Fairchild Exteriors depends entirely upon my ability to maintain, and build upon, the reputation of quality established by my parents. The following are examples of some of the ways I pursue that goal on every job that I work on.
- I make every effort to maintain open lines of communication with you, and to make sure any special needs you may have are handled professionally.
- Once I start a job, I stay on it until it is completed, with very few exceptions.
- I maintain a clean and safe job site throughout the project.
- I guarantee my labor for as long as you own the property, and I provide you with warranty information on the materials I use.
- I maintain all the professional licensing required by the State of Wisconsin.
